First Semester

During first semester, I experienced 3 things at the ESL listening & conversation class. First of all, I made power point presentation slides and presented about the topic “Sleep early for the good condition at the test vs Stay late to study more”. For example, I made the power point slides. Making the slides, I tried all of the animations and effect to know which are funnier and more interesting. I also took resources, such as slide designs and pictures, from the website of Microsoft. After I got the slide designs and pictures, I put them into the power point slides. I thought many times about designs, animations, also contents, so I had been confident of my presentation. However, when I went to front of student, I got nervous too much and became stiff. I was even hard to smile. In my opinion, I should have a lot of practice to be accustomed to present. Second, I made a video about World greatest. For example, I took many pictures of many themes, such as nature, piece, love, and friendship. Additionally we, especially Mimi, Alex, and I, went to many places in hays to film many good scenes. After we got many videos and pictures, we started using movie maker to complete our World greatest videos. At the first, we were not good at using the program, so we made many mistakes. However, we made a surprising video as we practiced several times. The video made many Americans surprised. I thought that making effort never betray me. Also, I thought that we couldn’t be successful without our cooperation because it was necessary to get many ideas, pictures, and films for our project. Third of all, we made own t-shirts. For example, we searched the silk screen painting and went to the company to get specific information of it. Following the steps, we bought frames at the Wal-mart and stapled the silk on it because it was the cheapest way. If we bought silk screen frame which is made in the factory, we must have paid a lot of money. It was really hard to staple them on it. I got hurt many times. At the same time, we drew our faces on the transparency because we would put emulsion under the transparency drawn our faces to make a form of our faces. Finding the good time for burning the emulsion was also hard. After we did the all procedures, we put inks on the frames and test it with gray t-shirts given by Mr. because it was dangerous to print it at the first time. When I was done with the first T-shirts I was very satisfied and happy. I showed it to everybody and wore it often. As we were done with first T-shirts project, we started making second ones using the other way. The difference from first one was that we used “Adobe photoshop” to make stamp styled pictures. For the stamp styled pictures we asked to several teachers and student like Marry, Father Fred, and Steve first because they will get angry with us if we use their pictures without their agree. Working with the program, I used many kinds of colors, especially pink and purple. I thought that I was good at this work because I could find good matched colors well. I also felt good. Everybody asked me how I could make it and how much I used. In my conclusion, this t-shirts project lets me confident and satisfied.

A guy I love all the time

There’s one person is really important in my life. That guy is my dad. As many Chinese, he never show his love straightly. Because of his special way to show me love, sometimes I made misunderstand with him in my childhood memory. One day in my 8 years old, I was bored by my cram class in summer vacation, so I escaped from this class and went back to home. I turned on TV and staring to relax myself. It came as a surprise that my father went back to home at that time because of his documents. He looked at me for a while and then realized I cut my class. I still remember his angry look at that day. He slap on my face and almost shouted: “Are you trying to skip the school?” I was shocked and stare at him without words and begun to sob. After that, he shut the door heavily and left me in home. Why he is so angry, this is just my first time skip school and that’s only skip school, I thought. I had no idea I was too scared or too tired, I fell asleep on the sofa till night my mom came back. She noticed I was fever and let me go to bed. The next day morning, I saw some medicines and a note on the desk, it was written on “My son, don’t forget take medicines.” I thought that was from my mom till some weeks later, my mom told that note was written from my father. Come to think it now that was nothing wrong with a father hopes his son on the right way of life, and I am always moved when I think about this story especially the medicine and note.

Actually his not often show his serious face in front of me. He likes to accompany family in weekend and some special days. In my 17^th birthday, that was the last birthday before I came to here, he pushed away all the dinner party (fortunately that day is weekend) and celebrated my birthday. He was so happy in my birthday even happier than me. He told me so many stories about when I was a child and said “You were that little when you were a child.” hundreds times. I thought he may miss the past time we stay together. We talked about many memories very late at that day, and I felt our relationship like friends more than father and son. This time he enjoined me much like my mom, even that was terser I still can feel the love he trying to express me. After that night, I think he is not only my father but also my best friend. I do miss that night and I hope we can talk like that all the time. There is one stage I have no reason and began to worried about go abroad to study. I have been expecting for go to U.S.A since my father told me the plane for sent me go abroad to study but when it comes, I don’t think I’m ready for this. I even can’t keep silent, and my mom didn’t know what she can do for me. It continued 4 days until my father came and talk to me. He told me a lot his stories about when he left home and went to high school, actually I knew he just want to let me know this problem is universal and don’t have to worried about that. Then he given me so many advices and experiences for many common problems we would met on the way of study alone. At last, he said: “From now, you are a real man. I just can give you some advices. You can make your choice, my son. Whatever happens, just follow your heart.” I can’t see any father’s role when he talked with me, that’s more like a sincerely friend.

Now I can understand it’s really hard to be a man to say love with others. I love my father so much but I won’t bring out “I love you” these 3 words to my father. At fathers’ day this year, I sent my father a text to thank him for these years taking care of me and help me be on the right way of life. My father relayed me “thank you” 2 words. In fact, as my mom told me, he was so happy when he received my text. These days, I chat with my mom on line as usual, when she talked about my father, she remind me chat with my father because he miss me so much, and she told me he still kept that text. I couldn’t hold myself and want to cry. This is the love between 2 men, no one bring out love this world but we knew we love each other. I don’t chat with my dad many times, even if we chat I have no idea why the conversation is always so short but it can’t deny we miss each other, it just because this is our special way to convey the love.

Thank you so much, dad. I love you. I hope one day I could have guts to say these words in front of you.

One day we bought the airplane tickets on-line. If we bought the tickets on-line so we needed to pay the money before we got the tickets. But my father didn't know so he didn't pay the money on -line and said it's ok we could got the tickets. I told my father if you didn't pay the money they couldn't gave your tickets because if more people wanted this people they could sold it. My father didn't follow my mind and kept saying it's ok we can get the ticket. On the next day we arrived the airplane we didn't got the ticket but my father still said it's ok.

He/She is stubborn that he/she hates to be wrong. For example, when I finished a math test, my friend always checked the answers. He was really smart. If he got wrong answer, he never changed his answer. Even, he checked the answers with math teacher, but he never changed. He/she is stubborn that he/she doesn’t show weakness to me. For example, when I went to movie theater with my girlfriend, I wanted to watch comic movie. At that time, my girlfriend always feel so boring. However, if the movie began, my girlfriend was always laughing. When, I saw her, she stopped laughing. Then, I asked “Is it fun?” she always replied “No, it was so boring.”

My father is stubborness that he hates to be wrong. For example, one day, he was arguing with me about pronunciation of a Chinese word called ”zhui”. He instate that word called “ya” and told me trust him because he is older than me. Actually that word has 2 pronunciations but in this word, it should be pronounced as “zhui”. However I told him so many times, he just doesn’t want to change his mind. At last I used Chinese discretionary to show him I am right but he said:”Maybe it’s changed, that should be pronounced as “ya” when I was young. Anyways it’s not my fault.”

My grandfather

My grandfather is stubborn that he hates to be wrong. For example, he insists that he is always collect. When I went to school in Korea, I had done a lot of homework, so I sometimes asked to my cousin, named Yong Gook, about a difficult physics question. At one time, my grandfather and Yong Gook were in the living room watching a funny TV show, and I asked him about Newton's first law of motion. Seeing my book, he said that he can teach me, but I didn’t think he can do it because he is old enough to forget it. So, I turned down it, but he made me listen to him and started to teach it. Even though I said that he is wrong showing book, he said “My knowledge is more exact than the book”. In my opinion, he is most stubborn man among my relatives.

My father is stubborn that he never shows he is wrong. For example, my computer was broken in this summer. I broke the memory card of my computer. After my father knew that, he said “I can fix it.” I do not think he can fix it. He even does not know what is the different between CPU and memory card. I cannot say no to him because he is my father. I know he cannot fix it, so I ask him “do you really know how to fix it?” He said yes to me. He lost a lot of stuff inside of computer such as CPU, memory card, hard discs. My computer is absolutely broken after he “fixes” it. He told me “it is OK. I will fix it.” He bought me a new one after 3days. He said “I already fixed it, that one is very good. I want use it, so I bought a new one to you.” This is why I said he is stubborn.

When I hear my father said the wrong chinese word, and told him. He would not think I was right. Even I helped him to search the dictionary about that word, he still thought he's right or he would say that's his teacher's wrong. Next time he saw that that word, he still speak like last time, and he was never change it.

when my father used his cell phone, and he wanted to send massage to other people. Some times he can not type some word in his cell phone, he would tell me to helped him to type. After I finished type, I said it is so easy. he said "I just want to give you a test about cell phone and I know how to type this word because I am your father." Next time, he wouldn't asked me about that, he was going to ask my mother because he don't want show me the same problem again.

My mother simply will not let any kind of weakness show. For example, one time my mom stayed at home to write a report for a company. She wasn’t sleep for 3 days. On these days morning when I woke up, I saw she still sit in front of the computer. I said “mom, you sit in front of the computer for a long time you must be tired, I think you need to take a rest before you continue your report.” “I know, I am ok, I can continue my work now.” she said. I saw her eyes became red, I tried to ask her again, but she still told me “I was ok”. When she worked, I saw she ate the gum to refresh herself. I told her “I think you really need to have a rest, you see your eyes tell me you really need it.” I got the same answer from her. I didn’t know although the behavior has already told me she was tried, she still said she is fun.
My mom also hates to be wrong. One day I asked my mother to take my homework to my aunt’s house. I told to her I needed the yellow and green text book, it was in my first book case. When she came to my aunt’s home she gave it to me. I said “It isn’t that one. It told to you I need the yellow and green one, but this is just yellow in the book.” She said “You didn’t say clear, I just found this on your desk.” “But I said the book is in my first book case, did you see the book case?” “No you didn’t tell me the book is in the book case, this is your mistake, why you always left your book in the room.” She said to me. I had no idea to say anything about it. I didn’t understand when she forgot something why she didn’t have mistakes, all wrong are belong to me.

My ski trip
It was great experience at Ski resort, and I had three specific fun moments in this ski trip.

First, it is I went to the boys’ room play with them. For example, every night, I went to the boys’ room. We went to the supermarket to buy many foods. In the evening, we cooked dinner together. After cooking, we left many dirty dishes in the sink. All of us didn’t want to clean it up. Then we found out a good idea to make excuses. Ethan said he needs to take shower. Kevin said he needs to have a rest. I said I have to do my homework, so Yangyang had to wash those dishes which we used from Wednesday night. When they need to clean the room or wash dishes, they called Yangyang to go their room. We also watched TV in their room together. We watched NBA games with them. During the game, Yangyang said that she wants to sing. She sang some really old songs and danced. She danced was really crazy, she shake her head, her long hair in the front of her face. She looked like a madwoman. When I saw her, I couldn’t stop laughing. How crazy girl she is. Caden couldn’t stand her, he thought that she sang too loud. And he turned up the sound of the TV. Because the TV was so noisy, RA knocked the door. Yangyang and I thought that we couldn’t stay there, so we hided in the restroom and locked the door. When the RA came in the room, he just said that we were so loud and we could stay in the boys’ room. After the RA leaving, nobody told us to go out the restroom. Yangyang and I stayed a long time in the restroom, but they watched game in the living room.

Second, it is I lived with my friends and slept on the sofa every night. For example, after came back from the boys’ room, because the bedroom had enough people to live. So Yangyang, Judy, and I had to sleep in the living room. We talked about three girls who lived in the bedroom. Judy was really angry at what they did. We turned up the TV and sang songs, and talked loudly. At midnight, I called my mom. We turned music loudly. Sometimes, we learned some funny actions. Everyday we slept on the sofa, so we didn’t want them fall asleep. When Yangyang did some funny actions, Judy and I was laughing. Every night in the living was make me unforgettable, because in the dorm, most of the time I spent alone. I didn’t have fun with my friends, and I couldn’t go to bed too late.

Third, it is I skied every day. For example, on Thursday morning I took ski lesson. Sally, Amy, Yangyang around a circle, it was not different for us, we were easy to get that. All the morning, we learned how to ski. When I finished lesson, I was too tired. At that time, I didn’t think my body is belonging to me. I didn’t have any more power. I lay on the snow ground. I said I don’t want to ski any more. But after that, I had a rest at hotel, and I felt much better. I broke what I said before. I went to the ski again. When I got off the cable car, I felt on the ground. The cable car which behind me hit my head. It was too hurt. I ski on the slope, suddenly, Nick and Amy to greeted me on the cable car, so I raised columns in front of me. I rushed to the protect and broke it, everyone looked at me and laughed including myself. I thought how stupid I am. Then Lucas and Ralph saw me. They took me to the high slope. Before I followed them, they told me it much easier than others, there have many women and children. But when I got there, I found I am deceived by them. The slope was much sheer than others. I was so scared. Under the Lucas and Ralph’s protect, I slided one third of the slope. Because of the sky became dark, I took the car down the slope.

In my conclusion, I played with my friends. I tried the sport which I have never tried. Even though I am not good at it, but I got over myself. I got more friendships from the trip. I was happy and enjoyed during the trip.

It was great experience at ski resort, and I had 3 specific fun moments in this ski trip. First, it is my first time to snowboard. For example, I went to snow board at Thursday morning after breakfast. I did not know how to do it using snow board. I did not take lesson because I thought it might be very boring. The truth is that I was rolling down from the top of the mountain to the bottom, but it turned out better the second time. At least I did not fall down. I tried to jump during the time I went down because I saw other people who used snowboard jump from one place. After I tried ten times, I gave up since my body hurt very much. I felt I was dying when I fell down again. After I fell down many times I knew how to snowboard. In my opinion this is one of my best memories in this ski trip. Second, I ate a lot of Japanese food. For example, there are two Japanese restaurants around our condo. I ate a bowl of udon noodles in one of the restaurants. The sushi in the other restaurants was very delicious. It was made by rice and some fish when I ate them; I also ate some wasabi with them. In my opinion, the Japanese food is the best food that I had eaten during this ski trip. Third, I bought a lot of cheep stuffs in ski trip. For example, I bought six T-shirt in American Eagle and it only cost me thirty dollars. In the mall, every shop had a discount of at least 25%. It made me very exciting. I also bought a pretty bag for my mother. The bag was brown with many “G” letters covering the bag. I told my mother after I bought the bag and she was very happy. In my opinion, making my mother happy also makes me happy. So I was very happy in our mall trip during this ski trip.

My ski trip

It was great experience at ski resort, and I had 3 specific fun moments in this ski trip. First, it is that I played snowboard with Jay and Alex. For example, it was my first time to play it, so they taught me how I can play it well. Fortunately, I could learn it fast, so I started to raise speed earlier than other people. Even though I felt several times, it was very exciting to play snowboard fast. In my opinion, playing snowboard at “Black diamond”, which is so steep, would be a good experience in whole of my life. Second, I went to shopping at third day with Jay, Cedric, Edward, and Steve. For example, it was during “Black Friday sale dates”, so I could buy clothes and shoes at a discount. To be specific, I bought “Polo Ralph Lauren’s” shoes, which originally cost 129 dollars, at 65 dollars and “Tommy Hilfiger’s” jeans, which originally costs 70 dollars, at 34 dollars. Buying these well-known goods at discount as much as 50% is almost impossible, so I was really happy. In my opinion, “Black Friday sale dates” are the best days for people, liking shopping very much. Third, it is that Jay, Edward, Alex, and I ate delicious noodles and chicken soup, cooked by ourselves. For example, we bought carrots, broccolis, and some piece of chicken, and we boiled them after cutting. They were very tasty, especially the chicken soup, cooked by Cedric. In my opinion, cooked by ourselves, the chicken soup is much better than TMP lunch.

Ski trip

First, it is my first time rent ski stuffs. For example, We needed to rent ski stuffs like, ski boots, ski, and ski poles. Dan gave us each person a white paper when we arrived the ski shop. Then we needed to gave the solder the paper because I got the shop so I didn't know what I needed to do. I waited a long long time. Finally I couldn't wait any more so I went to ask the solder and they told me need a white paper. Then I knew and got the ski stuffs. In my opinion, if you don't know what you can do then you must need to ask. Ask is a good way to solve problem.
Second, it is my skiing. For example, today we went to the skiing so we needed to wear the ski coat, pants and boot. But the wear the ski boots is very difficult to walk because I didn't know so I was so tired when we arrived the mountain. Got a little break then we wear the ski. I fell down after I wear the ski that was so slip and I couldn't get balance. I tried my best stand and walked very slowly. If we wanted to ski we needed to take tram got the top of the mountain and skied down. we took the tram but the tram was so dangerous because the tram didn't have railings, and we must skied down a little distance because the destination had a little slope. We couldn't walk down must skied down. But I didn't know so I fell down again. All the skiing road was all a slope so if you standed you couldn't control youself and skied down. Before I ready to ski I had already fell down many times. I shout ,"GOD", I got I got the bottom of the mountain in the end. That was a very different experience for me. In my opinion, first time is always difficult but if we can spent time final we can success.
Third, it is my first time cook in the hotel. For example. We wanted to cook in the hotel because it is very interesting and that was very special experience. So I and my roommate went to mall bought many stuffs like beef, meat, vegetables and so on after skiing. We put all the stuffs in the fridge then we opened the Roast machine and began to cook. We ready to cook the chicken so we wash the chicken. Then we put the water into the bowl and put the bowl on the Roast machine. We put the chicken legs into the bowl when the the water boiling. After few minutes we took out the chicken legs then we put the water and chicken legs into another bowl. After that we also put salt, hot paper, sesame oil and put the pot covet on it. We cook about 30 minutes and we couldn't wait any more because everyone wanted to taste it so we took out the cover. We taste it that was so delicious, and everyone wanted one more after they ate the leg. In my opinion. Playing everything with friends that is more interesting than play by oneself.

My ski trip

It was great experience at skit resort, and I and three specific run moments in this ski trip. First, it is that I went to peak 8 tracks. For example, I played snowboarding with Edward, Bruce, Paul, and Jay. We went to peak 8 tracks. I was really exciting peak 8 tracks because this track can go down fast. Also, I often practiced jump skills. So, I need many jumping tracks. This track has many jumping tracks. Finally, this track has long way so I can excited a lot. In my opinion, I really enjoy this track because this track has everything I want such as jumping tracks, long way, and steep slope. Second, it is that I went to restaurant. For example, last night ski trip, my roommates and I went to restaurant. This restaurant is specialty shrimp store. I ordered including shrimp, crab, shellfish, and crawfish. I waited about twenty minutes, my food appeared. This food is really delicious so I can’t forget tasty. In my opinion, if I will go Colorado next year, I will go that restaurant again. Then, I will eat same menu. Third, it is that I went to Colorado shopping mall. For example, I went inside the mall with my Korean people. We were very hungry. So, we went to food corner and ordered Chinese food. Then, we went to PACSUN store and look around a store. I wanted to buy gray pants, but I didn’t. Later, we went to shoes store. I wanted to buy basketball shoes but I can’t because I don’t have enough money. Finally, we went to VANS shop. I found my own style shoes. In addition, the prize is so cheap. So, I bought shoes in VANS shop. I really like my shoes until now. In my opinion, I want to go Colorado shopping mall again because there are many things I want such as basketball shoes, pants, and coats.

My ski trip

It was great experience at Ski resort, and I had 3 specific fun moment in this ski trip. First, it is I saw many people play crazy snowboard playing in this trip. For example, before I went to ski trip, I only can saw they played crazy snowboard action playing on TV. They can do many actions when they played. Anyone has seen it on TV, and it was not special for us. When I really saw people flying and do many actions, speed up and turned many circles, I can feel that was very difficult and dangerous. If they don’t have much practice, they cannot do that. Before I went to ski trip, I just feel excited about it. In my opinion, people do many actions when they ski. It’s so difficult and dangerous. It made me know everything is difficult if you want to make them very well. Second, it is I can use snowboard very well after I fell down a half day. For example, it was a really short, and I felt excited about it. When I know the easy way to use snowboard. I thought the ski trip is really too short because I was already loved it and enjoyed it. First day afternoon, I went to the third top of mountain with Aaron. I can play not bed at that time, and I can follow Aaron. Sometimes I just wait for Aaron. In my opinion, if you can play it better by every time, you will get more and more confidence and you will enjoy this sport. Third, it is I went to a very difficult slope to play snowboard. For example, that was the really hard place; many people went there just stop and chose the easy way. I went with Eddie and Chad, Eddie is a kind of good at snowboard but Chad always fell down and cannot play very well. When we went there, we just went to the hardest way and Eddie told us we were going to die. Finally, I followed with Eddie and finish many times; also I fell down many times. But Chad always made us waiting for him. In my opinion, if we want improve our skill, we have to choose the difficult way to practice.

It was great experience at ski resort, and i had 3 specific fun moments in this ski trip. First, it is the first I stayed in house we lived there. This room is big enough for 8 people, and I felt comfortable in this room. After we came back from super market, we relaxed ourselves in this room. Wang and me played WWE together. The rock music played by laptop let this room lively. At the dinner time, we cooked noodle for ourselves. The house became more and more warm, and everyone in this room felt so happy. And then we ate together and kidding each other for fun. I loved the moments when i stayed in this house so much because it let me felt at home. Second, it is went out to watch the beautiful scenery. At the second night, we fed up with the noodle we cooked, so we decided ate outside. It's my first time came to here so I interested in everything in this town.  The design of the house is fantastic, it makes this town more beautiful. I kept play snow near the road because I have never seem so much snow in my hometown, even it's too cold and made me can't feel my hands. Because of beautiful scenery I felt everything goes to better. In my opinion, The view of that town was really nice and let me want to stay here longer. I enjoyed this town so much and have fun all the time. The last moment was snowboarding. The reason I went to peak 8 is not I asked for it but Wang lied to me, he told me Peak 8 is flat and easy to snowboarding. Actually the slop there was really big and the height was really high. It's too late when I noticed it. I have no choice and have to snowboarding to the bottom. I even can't keep balance at that slope. Finally, I arrive

d bottom but the way I went down was not snowboarding but use my butt to fall down. I still enjoy that though I always fall down and hurt myself so much.

There are 2 reasons that I come to the America. The first reason is I can improve my English. For example, when I came here, I had to speak English everyday. That made my spoken abilities improved. When I took the classes, I discussed with the other students in English. Last time, I went to the mall and bought a pair of shoes. Nobody went with me, so I talked with the assistant that I wanted to buy shoes which size are 6 half. This was my first time to buy shoes in America by myself, and I got improve by this time. I knew how to talk with assistant. The second reason is I can learn about American culture. For example, I joined dance party with Americans. When I was in china, I never join this party. In this party I found out that American’s are very open. I enjoyed Halloween in here. In my school, most of people wore special clothes in Halloween. In the mall, when I went to a shop, they gave me a candy. That made me more in-depth understand Halloween. In my conclusion, I came to the America, my English improved, and I in-depth understand America culture.

The ski trip

Waiting for the ski trip, I have prepared 2 things for the ski trip. First, I bought delicious foods and sweet beverages. For example, I bought 12 packs of instant noodles, and one box of pop, named “Milkis”. I’ll hold a party during ski trip to have a good time with my ski trip roommates, Jay, Alex, and Edward. Second of all, I made a promise to borrow a pair of waterproofing ski gloves and a dark thick parka from Aaron. So, I can save money as much as about 200 dollars. In my conclusion, I can have a really interesting vacation with the food, drink, and the ski clothes.

English only in dinning room

On Thursday, our dinner was China Garden ,and all boys and girls came boy's dorm ate dinner so we had many people. we chattted with each used our own language so the dinner dinning room was very noisy because many different languages with together. Suddenly RA told us this was the dinning room everyone needed to speak English but nobody cared about what her said. On Friday, we were called went to dan's office because spoke the chinese in dinning room and we got job on sunday afternoon. On sunday, we went to the school carried the desks, chairs and move the stuffs into the study hall for an hour. In my conclusion, we needed to practice speaking English because we paid the money for it, and RA warned us because they cared about us and hoped us don't waste money.

I was so happy that weekend is coming again at Friday, and I thought I could enjoy this weekend. But unfortunately, my laptop was broken because of my careless at Saturday. When I finished movie and left my desk, I tied to wires of laptop, and it drop off from the desk. Picking it up, I realized my laptop was damaged. It resets by itself all the time when I tried to turn on it. Maybe there’s something wrong with my disk. I didn’t know what I can do at that time. It’s very boring in dorm, especially without laptop. It means no Under Worlds, no GTA and no chatting with William, so I started to walk around the entire dorm. After half an hour, I tried to fall asleep at 9 o'clock but it didn’t work, so I went downstairs and watched Wang playing Star Wars. I even didn’t want go back to my room. At Sunday, I slept until 2:00 PM, and I hope the time could go fast. In my concluding, everyone should know how to fix the laptop, or you will be bored by you life in dorm.

The clothes room of a fashionista has many closets, and it is organized really well to find faster what they want to wear. For example, the big closets are full of a lot of T-shirts and pants. There are “Calvin Klein” Jean, “Adidas” T-shirts, and “Levi’s” jeans in those closets. Next to them, there is a small and transparent drawer, having many kinds of watches, such as watches for sports and well-known watches like Nike’s watches. Additionally, there are many hats in the long drawer at the corner. Similarly the hats, in the drawer, are diverse and organized quite well. There are many stylish hats, such as long black beanie, red shiny cap, and hip-hop styled cap. In my conclusion, you should make your clothes room organized and clean first to be a fashionista.

To take a crowded bus on a hot day is really uncomfortable. For example, on a hot day, the temperature in the bus is really high. People are who in the bus really high will sweat, so it makes the smell on the bus really bad. Because the seats are limited, some of people cannot sit down. They have to hold the handrails, so people who stand on the bus are tired. When the bus crowded, the people crowded together, so many of people’s sweat will rub off on other people’s clothes. On the bus, the air is not fresh. In conclusion, on a hot day a crowded bus is terrible for people to take, because nobody wants to take a bus with too many people and get sweat from other people on them.

All of students in cafeteria like to talk about their interesting topic with their classmates. For example, they always talk about a game that control a small person to jump every to get some beans. After the small person gets the beans the door will open then they can go to next section. They all talk how to jump that can get the beans quick and not be caught. So, in my opinion, more than 100 students keep talking in this small cafeteria is not a good feeling.

A crowded bus on a hot day

Because there’s large population in China, most of the public are full of the people such as on the bus. There’re so many people on the bus especially when people go to and go off work. Sometimes even it does not at that time still have this phenomenon. One day on my summer vacation, I wanted to go-off for my lunch but it’s too hot to ride a bike. I went down-stairs and wanted to get on a bus. When the first bus arrived at bus station, I was surprised for so many passengers. So I decided wait for the next bus because of crowed. However to my disappointment, the next bus was still full of people, so I have no choice have to get on the bus. That bus did not have air-conditioned and so many passengers, it was really hot. I even didn’t have enough room to stand along, the people on the bus crowed together. At that time, the sun was very hot, and I even feel I can’t breath. Finally, I get out off the bus at the front station before my destination because I can’t abide that situation. In my conclusion, never take bus in China especially in summer. That’s not only a bus but also like the dessert.

My neighborhood is Aaron Yu and Hodong. Their room is a kind of organized room. The first thing you will see in their room is the Xbox and the TV because other room don't have it, and it is the Xbox in the dorm. Aaron and Hodong's desks looks very organized, and I know they clearn their desks everyday. Their closers are very formal, Aaron's closer have many clothes because he always shopping online. Even he has so many clothes, he also can find the clothes easily. Hodong's closer almost like Aaron's. Another special things in their room are the weights. Aaron bought a barbell and a dumbbell. They put them on the floor, and looks very organized. In my conclusion, my neighborhood's room is a very nice room, and I always go to their room because their room is the one room that can make me comfortable in the boy's dorm.

I would like to describe a section of my ESL classroom. In my big, bright ESL classroom, Mr. Nakagawa’s work station is on a corner. The desks are really messy, but there are not dirty. The right angle is made up by three wood, long, big desks. On the first desk, there have grammar, writing, and Japanese books. The books are heap up together. Next to the books, there have a black, hollowing, metal pen case and a snowman coffee cup. Mr. puts his marks and any kinds of pen in coffee cup. The coffee cup and pen case are all on the corner of the table. Mr. always works on the second desk, so this part of Mr.’s work station is emptier than other tables. There have a gray, big computer on the middle of the desk. Next to the computer, there have two Mr.’s wife beautiful photos. In the front of this desk, there have a black, comfortable chair. The third desk is the messiest desk. There have some plastic baskets. Some textbooks about ESL grammar, writing is in the plastic baskets. Near the third desk, there have a small, short, brown table. On this table, Mr. put his awards. In my conclusion, Mr.’s work station is big, clean, and messy. The stuff on the Mr.’s desks is unorganized.

I will describe Mr.Nakagawa’s work place. First, Mr.Nakagawa’s desk is really messy. He has many English grammar books and papers. He has his pictures of his wife from when he lived in Japan, and pictures beside his computer. Also, there are many textbooks put into the baskets on the desk. He puts a lot of pens, highlighters, and markers in coffee cups. He hangs Mimi’s blue and white frame and afro-hair. Finally, he has an orange and gray radio. I want to give advice on how to clean his desk. First, you need to organize items by type, to do this start by putting everything on the ground. Then, start putting groups of things back onto sections of the desk. In my conclusion, Mr.Nakagawa’s desk is really messy, I think he needs to follow my advice.

The juice fall on my laptop is dried when I came back to dorm; it was really hard to wipe out. My keyboard and screen was so sticky. Cleaning it, I spent almost 1hours. In addition, if I was watching movie along, he’s so annoy when he went into the room, he appraised all the time and talked about this movie’s roles. He drives me crazy.

Advices

I’m sorry to hear that. I give you some advices. If you do not want him to use your laptop with out ask you, you can make a password or you can say: “Please ask me before you use my laptop.” I f you roommate didn’t follow you rule, you should hide your laptop. When you watch movie, you can told him be quiet and don’t disturb you. Finally, you do not ant use your room with you roommate, you can ask Dan and told him change your room.

Difficult person

My classmate, Diao is difficult person in the cafeteria of the dorm. For example, he eats smelling delicious and looking good noodle in the cafeteria at the night whenever I feel hungry so much. The hardship is that I bear hungry at every night to prevent fat, so I feel painful whenever I saw him eating noodle. Even though he doesn’t intend that, he sometimes gives me hardship.

The Advices

For example, you can talk to him that you don’t want to see the noodle. You can ask him to eat noodle in his room. You can eat some eggs at night because eggs can’t make you fat. You can go to other’s room when he eat noodle. You can get your staff form cafeteria before he goes there. You can break the hotpot, so he can’t cook noodle.

My response

Thank you for telling me the advices. I agree to talk to him that I don’t want to see the noodle. Also, I think eating some eggs is better than bearing hungry. Going to other’s room could be one of the ways. If I put my staffs in the cafeteria, I’ll bring them before he goes there. After I do all steps you recommended, I’ll break his hotpot if I feel hard.

My dorm mate Yang yang is a different person in the dorm. When she is in the school, she looks clean. However, I think she is a dirty girl in the dorm. She always comes to my room to play computer and to do my homework. She putted pens, notebooks, computers in my room. Her stuff covered my desk. It was too messy. She love eating food, and leave the trash in my room, it makes my room smell really bad. However, most of times, she takes shower two days a time. I always ask her to take a shower. On weekends, I can’t even stand her. She didn’t even brush her teeth, dress up, and made hair. She looks too weak and dirty. I asked her why, but she didn’t even change. She didn’t do anything in her room. She said that Marie would argue with her. I really hope one day she can change. I don’t want to clean and organized my room for her every day. She makes my room messy, it makes me really uncomfortable.

You can chat with her and tell her what you think. You can also tell her if she takes many things on the table and make your table messy. You can tell her to clean it, because that is your table. I know you will feel empress, but you can tell her very kind. I think she will know you.

Thanks you for your advice. However, I tried to talk with her last time. Even she said she knew she would clean it, she wait more and more minutes, she didn’t clean it. Few days past, she made my room messy again. I think she didn’t care and put inside to remember, because we are good friends. I think I need to find a useful way to solve this problem. I don’t want to talk to her again. I believe one day, someday will talk to her, and she will change it.

My roommate, Lucas is a very difficult person, in the dorm. My roommate doesn’t take a shower everyday. He just washes his face and brushes his teeth before he went to school. I think he only took a shower on weekend. Also, my room smells bad because of him. So, I often buy incesents because when some Korean students come to my room, they leave early. In addition, he is always playing games or watching cartoons. I never see that he studies or does homework. In addition, many Chinese students come to my room when I go outside. If I come back outside, some Chinese students sit on my chair. They sit on my bed without asking me. By the time they say “I’m sorry” I feel really mad and disappointed with my roommate. My classmate, Chad gives some advice. He said, “I think you can tell him to take a shower. If you really smells stink in your room, you can open the window. My classmate Hodong is a very difficult person. He also is my roommate. Everyone said he is a difficult person. For example he always turn on his music very loud that I cannot sleep. He always uses my computer without my permission. He said “I did use your computer” when I ask him “Do not use my computer without asking”. He eats my chips like he owns. The worst one of all, he steals my underwears. He also farts in the room and does not open the window. If I open the window after he farts, he will close it very quickly and says, “Do not open the window I don’t want to open it”. So my room smells bad but he said he like this kind of smell. In my opinion, this is why I think he is a very difficult person.

I am sorry to hear that you can break his music machine by some accident on purpose. You should lock your computer when you do not use it. When he says bad words, you can fight with him. You also can nicely ask him not steal your underwear. If anything doesn’t work, you can talk with RA to change your roommate. You can clean your room many times.

Thank you for your advices to me. I would like to try those, because I cannot stand it. I think those advices can make him know that I am not a bullied guy. I know I will have a bad relationship with him. Some of the advices are not suiting for me, such as fighting with him because I will graduate from this high school this summer. My dorm, John, is a very difficult person in dorm. I and my roommate bought a new PS3. When the John came my room, he always made very noisy in my room. He played the FIFA very exercitd, and I always advised him to quiet. After ten minutes, he couldn't control himself and started to shout again that was very crazy. This was made me very uncomfortable, and even I wanted to throw away the PS3. He always loudly at outside. when he played with others, he always ran and shout others' name, sometimes he also will spitting that was terrible and made me very uncomfortable.
Jia Wen's advise, I am sorry to hear it. There have a some advice I want to give to you.
1. Don't let him come to your room. For example, you can say you are sleeping when he kncok the door.
2. You can go to his room to make noisy too. For example, when he does some thing, make noisy to bother him, let he know the feeling.
3. Don't give PSP to him to play. You can say the PSP have already lent to other people.
4. Have a chat with him. Telling him what feeling you fell.
5. Don't tell him what you have.
6. Tell RA. Let RA talk to him.
7. You go to other people's room to play, let he can't find you.

My dormate Eric Lee is a very difficult person. When he came to my room to found Eric Chang, he always look at me, didn't move his eyes, and his face looked like smile and scared. When I told him do not look at me, he began to laugh. When the second time I told him do not look at me and stop laugh, he looked very scared of me. I don't know what's wrong with him, and when he saw me, he always did like this. Many taiwanese always make him like a slave, but when he do something for taiwanese like a slave, he said do not make me like a slave, and still do something for them again and again when the taiwanese called him like a pet. In my conclusion, he is a so difficult person.

I'll give you some advices. In my opinion, he doesn't want to be slave. For example, he doesn't want to bring a cup of water for other guys. Just give him a break time to take rest. Usual person be normal again when he takes a rest. Even if he doesn't be normal again, you can make him smile again.

Thank you very much. Your advices is good, but I do not agree with you. He looks logy, and his words sounds really stupid many times. For example, when Jamie Lee asked him borrow a bottle of water, he will said" I don't want give you because those water are mine." Many people do not like him, and I do not think he is really normal. Father Fred’s Room

His room is very clean and organized. There are few staffs, such as some markers and pens on his desk. Next to his desk, one computer with a printer is there. In front of the board, there are some chairs, organized, so it looks very good. Additionally most things look bright because of the sunlight, so his room always seems simple and clean. In my opinion, his room is one of the cleanest rooms.

Diao’s advice to me

1. Throw those markers and pens everywhere.
2. Make the desk messy.
3. Bring lot of news paper or magazine to his room.
4. Tear the new papers and tear it.
5. Bring some trash and throw them.
6. Take some oily staff to his room and throw them on the floor.

My response

Thank you for telling me those advices however I don’t want make his room messy. It’s because his room doesn’t belong to me, and it’s for father, whose room need to be holy. In my opinion, if I bring news paper to his room and throw the markers and pens everywhere, he can’t teach students religion. Additionally, he will give me penalty. I never want to make father’s room dirty and never want penalty.

Describing a Place

I want to describe my room. First, my room isn’t messy because when I came back dorm, I always opened window and clean my room’s floor. I cleaned mattress and pilow once two weeks. Also, I washed my clothes twice a week. Then, I always clean my desk. I never put my staffs anywhere. Finally, if my trashcan is full, I always empty. My roommate gave some advice how to mess my room. He said “ you can wash your clothes once of two weeks. You don’t throw the trash in trashcan. Finally, you can put all your staffs on the desk. Mr. Nakagawa's section place

Mr. Nakagawa's section place is kind of messy place because there are many stuffs on his table. For example, there are computer, homework, books and so on. The books are disorganized put together. Mr. Nakagawa also puts his wife photos beside the computer. There are many papers put into the baskets on the table, and some papers leave at different places. He also puts many pen cases on the table and many high lights in it. There is also have a radio on the table. This is the Mr. Nakagawa's section place.
Alex's advices, first, Mr. Nakagawa needs to share sections place. Then, Mr. Nakagawa must put down all stuffs and put sections part such as pens, books . Papers. If Mr. Nakagawa doesn't use stuffs, he just throw it. Also, Mr. Nakagawa needs to empty trasncans. Mr. Nakagawa uses a broom and clean your floor. Finally, if Mr. Nakagawa leave his place, he should put a chair under the table.
Thanks for telling me those advices. I agreed I will tell Mr. Nakagawa to share his section place because I feel Mr. Nakagawa's empty place is so samll. My room is very messy. For example, I put my stuff everywhere, so my room is disorganized. There also are some greasy on the floor, because I ate noodles every night in my room. There are places in my room is neat. First of all is my desk. It is neat, because I need use my computer and study there. Another one place is my bed, I need a comfortable place to sleep,, so it is neat and organized. I put all of my trash in the trash bag, so it is not dirty. I clean my room once a week. When I clean my room, I can take out almost three big full trash bags. In my opinion, my room is very messy.

You can put your stuff on your desk in order.

You can eat noodles without boiling.

You can clean your room whenever it becomes dirty.

You can take your full trash bag whenever it became full.

You can put your clothes in your closet not on the bed.

You can wipe the floor.

Thank you for telling me those advices, however I cannot do this, because I am very lazy. I need more time to study, play computer games or play with other people. The messy room does not matter about my daily life. I just need keep my desk and bed neat. They are only two places I always need. In my opinion, I do not have enough time to do so.
